Parents: How do you help your children become more cultured?

What do you do? What activities, lessons, ect?Parents: How do you help your children become more cultured?
I was given yoghurt.Parents: How do you help your children become more cultured?
We try to provide exposure. We have friends from different countries, who speak different languages, we watch movies and documentaries from different countries, we speak about various cultures, etc. We strive to learn about the world and to transmit that knowledge to them.

I think I knew quite a bit at my kids' age, but they have actually been exposed to much more than I had.
Start early in their lives with what you enjoy. Do you like classical music? Listen to it and so will your kids. Do you enjoy reading? read to your kids. Don't wait for your kids to ask about things. They don't have exposure to anything until you bring it to their attention - You are the Guide. They will get cues from you based on your likes %26amp; dislikes.
Not enough detail here hun.

What kind of culture ballets and art?

World culture?

I mean obviously exposing them to related activities is a big one. I can't give you any examples with out some expansion.

I can tell you my son has benefited greatly from his exposure at only 6.
Take them to museums, art galleries, the aquarium, out to dinner after you've taught them table manners. You could also enroll them in a charm class. Music lessons to learn an instrument and take them to the opera and plays.
karate to learn self discipline and so the know they can actually accomplish something

take them to parks and slow down and point out the simple nature

read them books also encourage them to read their own book in a wide rage of topics

stuff like that

good luck

smile
hustle everyday
