Financial aid is based on income and the ability to contribute towards educational expenses. By having an EFC of $0 your parents are not expected to pay towards your college fees. The amount that you are awarded will depend a lot on the college that you attend and what their costs are. In addition to a Pell grant you may be eligible for student loans (which I would caution you against taking) and work study grants (where you would have a part-time job on the college campus to help you earn money). If you have any questions about your financial aid award go to the school and speak with a financial aid counselor, remember they're job is to help you. Don't be afraid to ask questions and don't feel embarrassed. They understand this is new and they'll be able to answer your questions. Congratulations on your decision to earn a degree - I wish you much success!Parent is on social disability how much fin aid will i get for school?
Depending on your schools cost of attendance and how many courses you take you should qualify for the full Pell Grant of $5,350. this would be divided evenly among the fall and spring semesters.

Do you mean you didn't file income tax or do you mean you didn't earn anything? Whether you filed or not, you still must report your earnings on your fafsa.
