When I was looking into becoming a foster parent, I wanted to try different agencies not just in my city but in neighboring ones as well, but I can't find anything anywhere that says yes I can foster children in another city or no I can't. Am I just allowed to become a foster parent in my city alone?When becoming a foster parent, are you only allowed to become a foster parent in your city?
There is no such thing as long distance foster homes. It is usually assumed that
people who foster children do so in their own town. That is probably why you can't find any information on this.
